It's been quite some time since I updated this page, so it is high time that I address that issue. It's been a long, hard winter... and I'm not talking about the local weather (which would be silly anyway, since where I live is not exactly prone to harsh winter weather). Aaaaanyway, big updates for Emily C. Martin, Megamoth Studio and Otherkinds!!
Megamoth Studio will be exhibiting one week from today at WonderCon in San Francisco, California. Come visit us in the Artist Alley, at table AA 90! We will have our usual suspects, the Megamoth shirts, pins, prints and of course the brand new Megamoth Studio Anthology! Also, we will have a new preview of the official first chapter of Otherkinds that will premiere online when the site is relaunched in May!
As of right now we are planning to also exhibit at Fanime in San Jose on Memorial Day weekend. We will hopefully have more merchandise available at Fanime, such as new shirts and crafts, and the FULL version of Otherkinds: chapter one. Also, at the Fanime Artist Alley some of the fantastic young artists of Megamoth Studio will be exhibiting individually! So if you come visit Fanime, be sure to check out Chelsea Harper, Soojin Paek, Kelly Lawrence, Emily Barber, Kaitlin Jann and Lily Tardif at their own tables!!
More updates are underway, so really, stay tuned! ;)

See you soon!

In a week from today, I will be 28. I will also be in Rome. The idea is not only incredibly exciting but also overwhelming. Especially since I have a ridiculous list of things to do before then...
Main highlight: Friday classes have officially moved. Starting Friday, they will run from 4pm-6pm, as opposed to 3:30-5:30. I hope this will work for all students. I mentioned in class that it is totally OK for students at the high school to hang out before class at the new location!
Unfortunately, due to my tight schedule, I updates are slowing down again. I will try to make it up to you when I get back at the end of the month. XD I will have to shift immediately into APE preparation mode... yay?
Meanwhile I have not been so busy as to not take a little time and enjoy my new favorite show: The IT Crowd. I like it a lot. You probably will too.

See you!

Some important updates!! (Sorry for the 1 day delay! I spent the last weekend in the wonderful company of the California Coast.)
A new print is up at the portfolio gallery!
Also, today was my first day of moving in to the new studio space. It's been slow goins, but surely I will have the classroom up to the task by the 3rd.
Other than that, there is also another page of Otherkinds to look forward to next weekend!
Oh, the future is so bright!

Until next time!

Life has been busy since comic con, but the fun ain't over yet. Additions have been made this day, to all three pages of Megamoth Studio. We have a new page of Otherkinds up, a new print up in the portfolio, and updates galore to the class site!!

Today, I walked through what is to be the new home of the Friday sessions of Megamoth Studio Classes. I can't begin to express how excited and grateful I am to have this new space. Now I am on to the great task of relocating. I have until September 3rd, so here goes!
September 3rd is also going to be the date of the final Summer Nights festival, where we will be exhibiting. The students have some beautiful new works to sell, such as plushes, hand crafted pendants and jewelry, and as always, comics and prints! We will also be doing "chibi" caricatures, so be sure to check us out at Cellars of Sonoma on Railroad Square, Santa Rosa!

Other than that, I have APE to look forward to, but before that, I will be vacationing in Italy for two weeks in September. I almost can't believe it. As dorky as this sounds, I really got excited for the trip whilst watching the finale of the Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood anime. (Not that I wasn't excited before) The last few episodes made me cry like a baby, but the home of the Brothers Elrich really reminded me of the landscapes around Asti and Lucca, when I traveled there in 2001 (even though I think the country of Armestris is supposedly based on Austria/Hungary). Anyway, I am really looking forward to taking Brett with me, since it will be his first time out of the country. I wonder how popular FMA: Brotherhood is in Italy these days...

More updates next Sunday, so stay tuned!

The main page has now been updated a splash page! The opening of this main page for Megamoth Projects and the construction thereof commences.

There's nothing much to see here, as all of the sections of the main site are under construction!

Though, while we're setting up, please feel free to click on some of the banners above!
